Pahwa Hospital, Nawanshahr organises free check up camp

Nawanshahr: Medico couple, Dr. Jivtesh Singh Pahwa,(Gold Medalist) , Consultant Interventional Cardiologist and Dr. Jasleen Pahwa, MD(Medicine), Fellowship in Hepatology and Nephrology, organised Free Diabetes Check Up at Pahwa Hospital here  to mark the World Diabetes Day today. Dr. Jasleen Pahwa examined as many as 40 patients suffering from diabetes. The clinical tests including RBS, HSAIC, ECG were done free of cost. The patients were also given tips to adopt proper diet, exercise and changes in life style for diabetes management. A diet chart was also circulated to the patients. Dr. Jivtesh Pahwa also examined the patients suffering from various heart ailments. 
 
It is worthwhile to mention here that Dr. Jivtesh Pahwa has also been voluntarily extending his super specialty services at the local Civil Hospital. He has been attending OPD patients at the local Civil Hospital daily from 9 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.
