Nine IPS officers transferred

LUCKNOW:  The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday transferred nine senior IPS officials, including Navneet Sikera, the in-charge of "Women Power Line 1090", an official release said on Wednesday.

Sikera, who has served in the state capital for more than six years in different capacities, has been sent to Allahabad as IG Housing and Welfare.

Anju Gupta has been shifted from ADG (Crime and Research) to ADG "Women Power Line 1090" while Satyendra Kumar Kaul who was ADG (Logistics) has been made the new ADG (Crime and Research).

ADG Brijraj, attached to the DGP office, has been made ADG anti-corruption organisation.

Sunil Gupta, who was ADG CB-CID has been posted as ADG of the Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy in Moradabad, replacing KSP Kumar who has now been made the ADG Logistics.

Vijay Prakash has been named the new IG Railways.
