Two women among five booked for assault, rioting

Nurmahal: The Bilga police have booked five persons including two women on the charge of assaulting a man, house trespass and rioting. The investigating officer (IO) Dilbag Singh said the accused have been identified as Prem Pala resident of Pharwala village, his wife, Laddu and Sheikhu of the same village and Muskan wife of Madan of the same village. 

Abhijit a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into his house on July 13 and attacked him with sharp-edged weapons and injured him.

 IO said a case under Sections 323, 324, (voluntarily causing hurt with weapons), 452 (house trespass) and 148 and 149 (rioting) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
