Rare honour for Nawanshahr MLA, Angad Singh

To Represent Indian delegation of Young Politicians in Germany and European Union 

 NAWANSHAHR: The youngest MLA from Nawanshahr, Angad Singh has brought laurels to the constituency. He has got the rare honour of representing 12 Member Indian Delegation, which has been selected to participate in the " Study cum Visiting Programme for Young Politicians" organised by Konard Adenauer Stiftung ( KAS) from September 23 to 30. Chief Whip of the BJP in Lok SAbha, Anurag Thakur  would lead the delegation.

Besides Nawanshahr MLA, the other members of the delegation are : Raj Hans, Speaker of BJP in Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pardesh, Chirag Kumar Paswan, MP,  Lok Jan Shakti Party, Harsh Ramesh Sanghvi, BJP MLA from Gujarat, Hamsa Devineni, Deputy Speaker, Himachal Pardesh Legislative Assembly, Harish Dwivedi, BJP MP, Ragini Sabharwal, Communication Professional of BJP, Dattatrey C.Patil, BJP MLA from Karnatka, Anupam Hazra, MP, All India Trinamool Congres, Prateek Bhushan, BJP MLA from UP, Rajiv Partap Rudy, BJP MP. 

The delegation would travel to Berlin ( Germany), Brussels( Belgium) and Strasbourg( France) , wherein, the delegation would interact with young German and EU politicians including MPs and MLAs, ministers, on structure and functions of the political system of German and the European Union( EU). The different aspects of the last German elections, as well as the current political scenario and challenges that Germany, Europe and India are facing, would also be discussed. 
Divulging details, Angad Singh, told that the purpose of the dialogue programme was to create a better network in between the young leaders of German and India. The programme would have the potential to provide the right insight and exposure to the young politicians to the structure and functions of the political systems that ultimately would prove beneficial for them to understand the common problems being faced by India, Germany and European Union. 
" The dialogue programme would further consolidate the cooperation among the politicians of the Germany, India and EU with special focus towards the question how young politicians can influence the decision makers in their respective countries to bring in improvement in the mutual understanding with regard to political values, convictions and position", said the MLA while adding that it would go a long way in improving bilateral relations. 
"Besides, the study programme would prove a boon for me in particular as it would help me to expand my vision to serve the people of Nawanshahr in a better way", further said Angad Singh.
