Third Day of North Zone Inter-University Badminton Tournament (Women) witnessed enthralling Matches

JALANDHAR: North Zone Inter-University Badminton Tournament (Women) 2018, being held at indoor sports complex at LPU campus witnessed many enthralling matches on the third day of the competition. LPU Sports In-charge Dr V Kaul informed that the deserving teams exhibited their best.

 

As per schedule of the Association of Indian Universities’ Inter University Sports Board of India, LPU is hosting the tournament from 19 to 24th November 2018. A total of 34 Universities across the zone are participating. International referees and other officials are streamlining the competitions under the guidance of AIU observer. The matches are being played on league-cum-knockout basis at four courts of the newly built sports complex of the university.

Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut defeated Bundelkhand University, Jhansi

Himachal Pradesh University defeated Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University New Delhi

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University defeated Chaudhary Devi Lal University Sirsa

Kumaun Ubniversity Nainital got walk over

Kurukshetra University defeated MJP Rohilkhand University Bareilly

Ashoka University Sonipat beat Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut
