AIR Falsely Reports Veteran Bollywood Actor Kader Khan's Death

Punjab Tribune Bureau | December 31, 2018 01:05 PM

MUMBAI: In a shocking turn of events, the cold death hoax of veteran Bollywood actor Kader Khan is going viral. The government-owned Twitter account, All India Radio (AIR) tweeted about his death and even paid condolence. However, turns out that this was FAKE news shared by the officials. After the tweet went viral, fans who believed the rumours paid condolence to the actor as well.

However, his son Sarfaraz told media that these rumours are false and that Khan is currently in the hospital in Canada.  He said, "It is all a lie. It (is) just a rumour. My father is in the hospital,". The 81-year-old actor has been not been keeping well for a long time and has been hospitalized earlier this week for breathing issues.

However, his death has only been covered through the Twitter handle of one news channel, the Government-owned All India Radio. No other news channels have confirmed his demise and neither have his family members put up any statement yet. So we are not sure how true the news is, and we wish it not to be true. Check out the tweet below from All India Radio -

Khan had developed breathing issues and the doctors had transferred him from a ventilator to BiPAP ventilator. Kader Khan' son Sarfaraz and his daughter-in-law were reportedly by his side. Please do watch this space for more updates on this.
