Punjab CM greets people on new year-2019

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Monday exhorted the people to welcome 2019 with the promise to work collectively and zealously towards building a better India rooted in love, tolerance and peace.

 

Extending warm greetings on the occasion, the Chief Minister wished a happy, peaceful and prosperous 2019 to people across the globe, with the confidence that the coming year would usher in a new era of overall development and growth for Punjab.

 

In his message, the Chief Minister urged people of the state, as well Punjabis living in the country and other parts of world, to work for the growth and development of Punjab.

 

Expressing the confidence that New Year would bring joy, peace and success for all Punjabis, Captain Amarinder Singh urged the people to make a firm resolve to make Punjab the country’s frontrunner state through inclusive growth, so that the fruits of development percolate to the grass roots level.

 

The Chief Minister reiterated his government's commitment to propel the state on the path of growth, besides cementing the bonds of communal harmony, peace, amity and brotherhood.
