76th Sthapana Divas United Commercial Bank (UCO BANK)

NEW DELHI: Each Year 6th January is celebrated as the ' STHAPANA DIVAS' of UCO BANK. This is celebrated throughout the branches in the country as well as branches outside the country. The function is being organised at its Head Office at Kolkata, all administrative offices and all branches in & outside the country.
 
Uco Bank, earlier known as United Commercial Bank, was established in the year 1943 in Kolkata. G.D Birla, an eminent Indian Industrialist during the Quit India movement of 1942  conceived the idea. It was a vision of G.D Birla to form a truly Indian Bank which came into reality after quitting India Movement. The bank has headquarters in Kolkata. It got nationalised in the year 1969 and 100% ownership was taken over by GOVT. in the bank. It has grown into a bank with truly a national character and international presence.
 
The Senior Manager at Rajouri Garden branch told that our Bank's all branches, Administrative Offices, international branches and other premises are decorated with balloons, flowers with near and clean ambience. The banners are put to commemorate the ' STHAPANA DIVAS ' and also banners are put to advertise out Retail Products. The Senior Citizens are being invited to commemorate the occasion. The customer's meet is also being organised along with the health check-up camps, eye checks up camp,  and blood donation camp at the specified offices.

The Rajouri Garden Branch is also celebrating the day with full spirit.Sh. Ashok Vashisth DGS OF ALL INDIA UCO BANK OFFICERS FEDERATION (AIBOC)& BRANCH HEAD OF RAJOURI GARDEN BRANCH told they have also invited senior citizens & customers and also UCOITES  to commemorate the 76th 'STHAPANA DIVAS'.The poems were also recited about bank & and also details of the products of the bank was introduced to the customers. The customers appreciated the all-out efforts of Bank and staff and also promised to be part of Banks journey for future.
