Truck driver booked for rash driving

NAKODAR: The Nakodar city police have booked a truck driver on charges of rash driving and mischief.

Investigating officer Buta Ram  said that the accused has been identified as Kulwant Singh a resident of Awann Khalsa village under Mehat Pur police station .

Amit Kumar a resident of Guru Teg Bahadar Nagar Nakodar  complained to the police that the accused was driving his trucks (PB-10-AH-9892) very fast  and hit his car and seriously injured him and  damaged vehicle.

Investigating officer said that a case under sections 279(rash driving on the public highway),337 ,338(causinggrievous hurt by endangering life or personal safety of others) and 427(mischief) of the ipc has been registered against the truck driver.
