Sukhbir Singh Badal forms Election Manifesto Committee for LS polls

CHANDIGARH: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President S. Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced a 17 member election manifesto committee for preparing the party’s election manifesto in the run up to the parliamentary polls.

         

The Senior akali leader and Member of Parliament S. Balwinder Singh Bhundar will be Chairman and former Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha S. Charanjit Singh Atwal will be the Vice chairman of the Manifesto Committee. The party’s Spokesman Dr Daljit Singh Cheema has been designated as Member Secretary of the committee.

         

The other 14 senior leaders who have been taken into as  committee members include Jathedar Tota Singh, S. Maheshinder Singh Grewal, Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra, S. Janmeja Singh Sekhon, Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar, Bibi Jagir Kaur, S Bikram Singh Majithia, S. Sikandar Singh Maluka, S. Gulzar Singh Ranike, Shri Naresh Gujral, S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, S. Hira Singh Gabria, Shri. Pawan Kumar Tinu and S. Harcharan Singh Bains.
