Category-wise Teaching Staffs Sanctioned & Existing in Non-NER Central Universities

NAKODAR: There was a Sanction of 1678 Teaching Staffs for Professor in Non-NER(national eligibility test) Central Universities as on 01-04-2017; out of which 827 (49.3%) were Existing Posts, hence there was a Vacant Posts of 851 (50.7%).

The number of Teaching Staffs Sanctioned for Professor in Non-NER Central Universities was 1364, 190, 94, 0 and 30 for General (GEN), Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC) and Person with Disability (PWD) respectively as on 01-04-2017. The number of Existing Teaching Staffs for Professor in Non-NER Central Universities was 783 (57.4%), 32 (16.8%), 4 (4.3%), 0 and 8 (26.7%) for GEN, SC, ST, OBC and PWD respectively as on 01-04-2017,said a report by Ministry of Human Resource Development, which has been posted on website, data.gov.in.

There was a Sanction of 3432 Teaching Staffs for Associate Professor in Non-NER Central Universities as on 01-04-2017; out of which 1979 (57.7%) were Existing Posts, hence there were Vacant Posts of 1453 (42.3%). The number of Teaching Staffs Sanctioned for Associate Professor in Non-NER Central Universities was 2729, 422, 207, 0 and 74 for GEN, SC, ST, OBC and PWD respectively as on 01-04-2017. The number of Existing Teaching Staffs for Associate Professor in Non-NER Central Universities was 1859 (68.1%), 96 (22.7%), 11 (5.3%), 0 and 13 (17.6%) for GEN, SC, ST, OBC and PWD respectively as on 01-04-2017.

There was a Sanction of 6857 Teaching Staffs for Assistant Professor in Non-NER Central Universities as on 01-04-2017; out of which 5101 (74.4%) were Existing Posts, hence there were a Vacant Posts of 1756 (25.6%).

The number of Teaching Staffs Sanctioned for Assistant Professor in Non-NER Central Universities was 4177, 856, 411, 1268 and 145 for GEN, SC, ST, OBC and PWD respectively as on 01-04-2017. The number of Existing Teaching Staffs for Assistant Professor in Non-NER Central Universities was 3651 (87.4%), 584 (68.2%), 227 (55.2%), 562 (44.3%) and 77 (53.1%) for GEN, SC, ST, OBC and PWD respectively as on 01-04-2017.
