Kabaddi Cup organized at Jalandhar's Bada Pind

Sports Minister Sodhi was the chief guest

 JALANDHAR: A Kabaddi Cup was organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sports Club in Jalandhar's Bada Pind for the purpose of encouraging sports, in which the sports minister Rana Gurmeet Singh was the chief guest. Who also discussed the contributions made to the development of Punjab by the NRI class. On the same side, he told about the efforts being made by the Punjab government for the purpose of encouraging sports.

Sodhi revealed that under the leadership of Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh, the state government is committed to making the youth energy efficient, and is committed to stream them in the direction of sports. In this direction, the government is also working to recruit new coaches and further enhance sports facilities in the state. During this period, he also announced construction of stadiums full of sports facilities in all the districts of the state. He appealed to the people that they encourage their children to participate in sports. He stressed that Punjab was once known for creating national and international level players in the country. In such a situation, efforts are being made to bring the state first in the matter of sports once again. 

 

Pradesh Congress General Secretary Pawan Dewan also praised the contribution made by NRIs for encouraging sports and thanked especially for organizing this competition by NRI Rachpal Singh Sahota.
NRI Sahota said that the sports are of great importance in Punjab and it can play an important role for the youth of the state to get out of the problem of addiction.

 

Apart from others, Nachhatar Singh Kalsi, Balkar Singh SP, Sunny Sahota, Navdeep Sahota, Malkit Sahota, Sarwan Singh Sahota, Rashid Ahmed, Avtar Aujla, Satvinder Aujla, Devendra Aujla, Surjit Singh Lali, Amrik Singh DSP, Paraminder Singh SHO , Pala Sahota, Navdeep Singh, Nirmal Singh, Harfool Sood, Sukhdev Basra, Sheer Kamalpur, Kamaldeep Singh, Sukhjinder Singh, Satwinder Jawaddi, Sunil Dutt were also present.
