Nobelians touching sky on Basant

JALANDHAR: Basant Panchmi was celebrated in the Nobel School premises to mark the onset of spring season. The Kites and the Thread Phirkis  were provided by the school. It was an amazing site to see the colourful kites in the sky and children trying hard to keep their kites flying high.

Honorable Chairman Sir Prof. C.L Kochher, Managing Director Er. Kumar Shiv Kochhar and Madam Principal Meenakshi Mehta enjoyed along with the students. Chairman Sir addressed the students and told them about the importance this day holds in our Indian culture. He also encouraged the students to use the cotton thread for the kite flying and avoid using the Chinese thread for the same. Sweets were also distributed and the entire school was tinted yellow for the theme using various kinds of decorative accessories.
