Job fairs on February 15 and 21 to offer 5500 jobs to unemployed youth under Ghar-Ghar Rozgar Yojna- ADC

JALANDHAR: Additional Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Jitendra Jorwal today said that the global players would offer around 5500 jobs to the unemployed youth during ensuing job fairs at February 15 and 21 at CT Institute and the DAVIET, respectively.

         

The Additional Deputy Commissioner, who visited the Shahpur campus of CT Institute today to review the arrangements for the mega event on February 15, said that said that the job fairs being organized by the state government on February 15 at Shahpur Campus of CT Institute and on February 21 at DAVIET would ensure that youth becomes self reliant by opening new vistas of employment for them. He said that leading entrepreneurs from across the globe would participate in this mega job fairs and provide job opportunities to around 5500 unemployed youth in the region. Jorwal said that the job fairs were being organized under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar Mission of the state government.

  

The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that these job fairs would pave for realizing the dream of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to provide job to every unemployed youth of the state. He said that the youth must avail maximum benefit of these job fairs, which would be instrumental in opening new avenues of employment for them. Jorwal said that these job fairs aim at making the youth an active partner in socio-economic growth of the state by offering employment opportunities to them.

On the occasion Manbir Singh and Harpreet Singh from the CT Institute assured fulsome support and cooperation to the district administration for this noble venture.
