Computer course at Sainik vocational training centre from Feb 18

JALANDHAR- District Defense Services Welfare Officer Major Yashpal Singh (Retd.) has informed that for imparting computer education, Sainik Vocational Training Centre has decided to start three-month basic computer course from February 18.

He said that the candidates would learn MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Printing, Emailing, scanning, English and Punjabi typing in the three-month duration of the course.

He stated that the candidate must have passed matriculation examinations and the children of ex-servicemen and serving defense personnel would be given preference. Apart from them, the children belonging to weaker sections can also apply for the course and nominal fee would be charged from all the children.

He said that the registration has already started and the interested persons can get themselves registered at the office of District Defence Services Welfare Officer, Shastri Market Chowk, here, and further information can be sought from phone number 0181-2452290, 94642-41268 and  95011-35935.
