3rd Day-All India Hockey Gold Cup

RCF Kapurthala, Khalsa Hockey, National Academy (MP) and NHA Reaches Semi-Final

 AMRITSAR: Rail Coach Factory, Khalsa Hockey Academy, National Academy (MP) and NHA today reached the semi-final in the All-India Guru Nanak Dev Ji Hockey Gold Cup-2019 being hosted by Khalsa Hockey Academy, here. These teams beats their rivals in their respective groups and will fight for the final spot tomorrow.

 

In the first match played between NCR and Steel Plant, the NCR team beat the later with 3-2 while in the second match, the Haryana-XI and National Hockey Academy contested a close match and the match was finally declared tie with 3-3. In the fourth match RCF Kapurthala defeated Khalsa Hockey with 6-2.

 

  

Lalrin Diki from RCF was declared as Player of the Matches for her performance and bringing the team to the dominating position.

 

  

The Gold Cup is being organized by the Khalsa Academy under Khalsa College Charitable Society at the historic College campus from February 20 to 24. The eight top hockey teams from across the country are participating in the tourney, said Sports Director Dr. Kanwaljit Singh and Dr Daljit Singh, head department of Physical Education.
