Young scientist award conferred on MRSPTU assistant professor Dr. Kanwal Jit Singh

BATHINDA: Dr. Kanwal Jit Singh, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department,  Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering and  Technology, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) Bathinda has been conferred with Young Scientist Award from International Association of Research and Developed Organization (IARDO) at RACE-2019 in  Bangkok (Thailand).

       

He has developed a method of machining of hard to machine bullet proof and heat resistant glass by Chemical Assisted Ultrasonic machining. His research work is very helpful in Armed forces application, VIP security and High security building.

   

He is selected among more than 1000 eminent researcher all across the World working in various fields. He has published more than 50 research publications in Science Citation Index International and National Journals with high impact factor e.g. Taylor & Francis (USA), Emerald (USA), Science Direct, Springer, Scientific Net (Switzerland), Nova Science (UK), Lean thinking (South Korea). He has presented many papers in International Conferences and National Conferences.

      

He has published 10 books in fields of Ultrasonic Machining, Electric Discharge Machining, Powder Mixed Electric Discharge Machining and Rotary Friction Machining in GRIN Publishing and Anchor Academic Publication of Germany.

        

His research publications have been cited more than 950 times by various researchers. He is member of Editorial Board in American Journal of Mechanical and Material Engineering (AJMME) of Science Publishing Group, New York (USA). He is continuing his research work through Ph.D research Scholars.

     

Expressing joy, Dr. Kawaljit  said, “I feel extremely grateful and indebted for receiving this significant award which boosts my confidence and inspiration to contribute in developing innovative.”

 

Prof. (Dr.) Savina Bansal, Campus Director GZSCCET MRSPTU and Prof. (Dr.) Balwinder Singh Sidhu, Head Department of Mechanical Engineering congratulated him for his achievements and  assured full support from institution to further carry out his research work.

     

Complementing the faculty member, the University Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Mohan Paul Singh Ishar reiterated his commitment towards continual research activities in the university. He congratulated him and wished him better future.
