Expert lecture on “drug awareness” organised at MRSPTU-

BATHINDA: The National Service Scheme (NSS) wing of Department of Civil Engineering, Giani Zail Singh Campus College of Engineering & Technology, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU) Bathinda organized an expert lecture on Drug Awareness” here today. Large number of students of Civil Engineering attended the session.

Key Speaker, Dr. Arun Bansal, Consultant Psychiatrist, Civil Hospital, Bathinda threw light on the consumption of drugs that has a severe impact on physical and mental health of youth. He also motivated the students to refrain themselves completely from the consumption of drugs before it destroys their health, future and takes away their lives.

Professor (Dr.) Savina Bansal, Campus Director, GZSCCET, Bathinda lauded the efforts by the Department of Civil Engineering for arranging such a knowledgeable session for the students.

Ar. Ranjeet Kaur (NSS Coordinator, MRSPTU) also spoke on the occasion.  

Professor Manjeet Bansal, Head of the Civil Engineering department said that these kinds of sessions are very necessary for the students apart from the basic knowledge of education.

Er. Gurprit  Singh Bath, (NSS Incharge ), Er. Sunita Kotwal and Er. Sukhdeep Singh Sidhu, Assistant Professors, Civil Engineering Department played key role in organising the event.
