Dr. Atwal pays rich tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. Ambedkar

JALANDHAR: SAD candidate contesting Lok Sabha poll from Jalandhar Parliamentary constituency on Sunday paid floral tributes to Bharat Rattan Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 128th birth anniversary. Accompanied by senior leaders of the Shiromani Akali Dal and Bhartiya Janata Party including former Akali MLA Sarabjit Singh Makkar, Adampur MLA Pawan Tinu, Jalandhar SAD chief Kulwant Singh Manan, senior BJP leader and former cabinet minister Manoranjan Kalia, former BJP MLA KD Bhanadari, Jalandhar BJP prseident Raman Pabbi, former Jalandhar BJP President Ramesh Sharma and Rajat Mahendru, Dr. Atwal reached the Nakodar Chowk and paid rich tributes to the architect of Indian Constitution. 
In his message, Dr. Atwal said that Dr. Ambedkar was a social reformer, legal luminary and an erudite scholar who relentlessly campaigned and against social discrimination and inequalities and was a firm believer in the empowerment of women through education. Dr. Atwal said that contribution of Dr. Ambedkar to nation building is invaluable and his ideas will continue to inspire every Indian for all times.
