Missing girl found dead under mysterious circumstances

NAKODAR:  An eighteen years old  missing girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances on April 12 and he decomposed body was recovered from a village well by the police.

Investigating officer(IO) and Shankar police post in-charge Lovleen Kumar said that the deceased has been identified as Tania daughter of Sucha Singh a resident of Hussaina Bad village.

Sucha Singh informed the police that Tania was working in  shoe factory near Ravidass Chowk Jalandhar and was missing from March 8 . He said that former sarpanch Baljit Singh told him on April 12 about a girl’s body lying in a deserted well situated in fields of one Iqbal Singh.

Sucha Singh said he informed the police which recovered the body of Tania. He said that he does not know how Tanai died and does not doubt anybody at present.

IO said that the police acting under section 174 of the cr.p.c. handed over the body of the deceased to the family after post mortem.
