Protest March and Dharna against Nakodar city police

NAKODAR: Insaf Prapati Sangharsh Committee on Saturday organized a protest march against Nakodar city police which passed through main bazaars and culminated in front of the police stations where a dharna was staged.

In a press release committee said that some days ago Malarri village residents brother sister duo was robbed and their motor cycle and mobile had set was snatched .It said that a member of a political leader’s family  was among lootters.The Nakodar city police did not take any action under political pressure ,it alleged.

 

Press note claimed that the police called both parties for comprise in the police station on Friday where the accused after tendering an apology for the act of snatching attacked the family inside the police station in which one person was seriously injured and was admitted to civil hospital .

Press note said that dharna was staged against this in which Rohit Khatari ,Pardeep Singh ,Jyoti Arora and Amar Peter participated adding that police officials ensured to registered a case and dharna ended .
