Vikramjit accuses Akalis for looting the state for 10 years under a partnership with BJP

Modi fails to fulfill even single promise, he made in 2014

BJP fails to offer anything new in its poll manifesto

PHILLAUR: Accusing Akalis for looting the state with their both hands during their 10-years rule, under the partnership of BJP, General Secretary of PPCC, Vikramjit Singh Chaudhary today said people would give a befitting reply to the SAD-BJP in the ensuing LS Polls and they would be wiped out from the Punjab politics.

“People had shown Akalis their real face and place in 2017 assembly election, when they won only ‘handful’ of seats, now in 2019 people have made up their mind to wipe them out from the politics of Punjab”, Vikramjit said while addressing a series of massive political meetings at the villages of Dhuleta, Phalpota, Samrari, Rajpura, Lohgarh, Garhi Maha Singh, Cheema Kalan, Cheema Khurd and Johal in Phillaur assembly segment.

Campaign of Congress took a new height today, when the entire panchayat led by Sarpanch Jaswinder Kaur of Phalpota village joined the party. While welcoming the panchayat members in the party-fold, Vikramjit said several other panchayats of opposition parties including SAD and BSP have joined Congress in the recent days, which shows the growing popularity of the Congress government in the state led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.

“Akalis have looted the state with their both hands and left the government with an empty coffer. Now due to the hard-earned efforts of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh fiscal health of the state has improved and very soon derailed economy of Punjab will be back on the track”, Vikramjit said.

Terming Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Punjab as “B” Team of SAD-BJP, General Secretary of PPCC, Vikramjit  appealed people for not to get trapped in the Akalis’ game plan by casting their votes for BSP, as it would indirectly go in favour of Modi, who has already been proved as anti-Dalit, anti-farmer and anti-industry.

“You all know that BSP and SAD are always handed in gloves to make a cut in the Congress’ vote bank, the same practice is being repeated this time too”, Chaudhary alleged.

Asking Modi to explain what good he has done for the welfare of any section of the society during his five-year rule, Vikramjit said NDA Government failed to fulfill even a single promise it made in it's poll manifesto of 2014.

He said that people of Punjab would put last nail on the “coffin” of BJP Government on May 19 and on May 23 Modi would be out of the Prime Minister’s Office.

He was accompanied by Gurpreet Kaur, Surjit Singh Lalliyan both Zilaparishad Members, Ramlubaya Member Block Samiti member.
