Woman booked for stealing cash, jewellary

LOHIAN KHAS: The Lohian Khas police have booked a woman on the charge of stealing cash and jewellery from a house.

Investigating officer (IO) and Malsian police post in-charge said that the accused has been identified as Manjit Kaur daughter of Kulwindar Kaur a resident of Malsian village.

Manbir Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that Manjit Kaur and her mother Kulwindar Kaur came to his house on May 8 for massaging his grand- mother  and remained in house for two and half hours and  stolen 2000 cash andgolden  jewellary.He said that cctv footage showed Manjit Kaur stealing cash and jewellary.

IO  said that a case under section 380(theft in dwelling house) of the ipc has been registered against the accused.
