Two women among nine booked for house trespass, assault

NAKODAR: The Mehat Pur police have booked nine persons including two women on the charges of house trespass and assault.

Investigating officer (IO) Paramjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Chandan, Deepu, his wife Kesha and Surjit Kaur wife of Malkit Singh all resident of Khurla Pur village and their five unidentified accomplices.

Shingara Singh a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into his house on May 13 and attacked and injured him.

IO said a case under sections 323(voluntarily causing hurt) 452(house trespass ) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
