CT Public School organizes Investiture ceremony

JALANDHAR: Leaders are not born but are made by their experience in life. Keeping up with this thought, CT Public School held its Investiture ceremony in the school campus with great pomp and dignity. The ceremony marked a significant beginning of the new academic session. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to flourish the responsibility of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.

Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group, Daljeet Rana, Principal and Sukhdeep Kaur, Vice Principal were escorted by a ceremonial band to the venue of the Investiture ceremony. After the badge pinning ceremony, the ceremonial lighting of the lamp took place.  The ceremony was held with lots of enthusiasm and gusto which was initiated with a motivational song by the students. Donning the mantle of accountability, the office bearers pledged to fulfill their duties to the best of their abilities.

The newly appointed cabinet includes Gagandeep Kaur as General Secretary, Shashank as Head Boy, Ritika as Head Girl, Amanvir Singh as Vice Head Boy, Prabhjot as Vice Head Girl, Sarabjit Singh and Anmol as Sports Captains and Sukhraj and Joyna as Discipline Captains. Whereas from Juniors, Kevin was designated with the charge of Head Boy, Disha as Head Girl.

Principal Daljeet Rana appreciated and congratulated all the office bearers. He advised them to be role models and extended a supporting hand to the student’s council for the smooth running of the school.

Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman inducted the students to their posts and inspired them to be good leaders. In his address he said that leadership is based on inspiration not domination; on cooperation, not intimidation. Great leaders don’t set out to be a leader; they set out to make a difference.

The function concluded with the National Anthem.
