The Shahkot police have nominated a person on the charge of culpable homicide.
Investigating Officer (IO) Buta Ram said that the accused has been identified as Charan Dass alias Buga son of Sucha, a resident of Pat Laksiam , Malsian village.
Kajal wife of Eklov a resident of Pati Laksian Malsian village, has complained to the police that both the accused had administered some poisonous substances to her husband and killed him.
IO said a case under sections 105(culpable homicide not amounting to murder) of the BNS was registeredagainst the accused and added section 238(causing disappearance of evidence or false information to screen offender) in the FIR.
