The Nurmahal police have arrested two Hoshiar Pur residents on the charge of selling Chinese Dor.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jaspal Singh said that the accused have been identified as Varunn son of Vinod Kumar a resident of Bassi Vajid village under Harianna police station Hoshiar Pur and Naresh Kumar son of
Mohan Lal resident of the same village.
IO said that a bag full of 20 rolls of Chinese Dor were recovered from their possession loaded in swift car
(PB-07-CK-5264) in which they were travelling.
IO said the accused violated an order issued by additional district magistrate on December 29, 2025, and a case under section 223(disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) of the BNS has been registered against them and impounded car.
