NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a thief for stealing cash from a shop.
Investigating Officer (IO) Buta Ram said the accused has been identified as Gurdeep alias Marra son of Vijay Kumar a resident of Lambarri village under Lambarrra police station.
Revati Raman a resident of Chuharr village, complained to the police that the accused and his accomplice barged into his shop and stole Rs 2400 from coin box.
Investigating Officer said that a case under sections 331(4) (lurking house trespass) and 305(theft in dwelling house) of the BNS has been registered against the accused and his accomplice Tari son of Mannak of Lambarri village.
