Lohian Khas police have booked a resident of charge of violating Jalandhar deputy commissioner’s order.
Investigating officer (IO) Balveer Chand said that the accused has been identified as Manga son of Jaswant Singh a resident of ward no.1 Lohian Khas.
IO said that the accused was carrying 4 bottles of liquor on a motorcycle which was banned by DC in Nagar Panchayat election 2026.
IO said a case under section 223(violating order duly promulgated by competent authority) of the BNS and section 64/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused
