The Shahkot police have booked a thief on the charge of stealing cash.
Investigating Officer (IO) Sukhwinder Singh stated that the accused has been identified as
Arjan son of Rajesh a resident of Basti Peer under Mandi Gone Aanna police station in Bathinda.
Balveer Singh, a resident of Kotla Suraj Mall village complained to the police that the accused stole Rs 10,000 from his pant.
IO said that a case under section 305(3) (theft in a dwelling house)331(4) (house trespass) of the BNS has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is on.
