The shahkot police have arrested a shootet booked on the charge of murdering a shahkot resident.
Station house officer (SHO) Balwindar singh said that the accused has been identified asSher Singh alias Sheri son of Nanak Singh a resident of Rajewal village and was nominated in this mudet case ..
SHO said that the accused shot dead Sandeep Kumar alias Sonu son of Bagga a resident of Ram Dass Colony Shahkot.
Surinder Pal alias Sonu, brother of the deceased had complained to the police that the accused had shot dead Sandeep on December 19 near a shop where he was working .
SHO said a case under section 103(murder ) and section 3(5)(committing crimes with common intention) of the BNS and sections 25/54/59/ of the Arms Act was registered against the accused and had recovered two live and two empty cartridges from the spot of the crime adding that the accused committed the crime at the behest of main accused Jagjit Singh alias Jagga of Rajewal village who is absconding and raids are being conducted to nab the absconding accused
