A Ludhiana villager was electrocuted on Sunday in Bilga area.
Station House Officer (SHO) Gursharan Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Gurchetan Singh a resident of Mangat village under Meharban police station Ludhiana.
Satwindar Singh son of the deceased told the police that his father was starting a motor in fields we he was electrocuted.
SHO said the police also received an information from DMC hospital Ludhiana on May 24 in this regardand acting under section 194 of the BNSS handed over the body to the family after postmortem.
