Chairing a detailed review meeting at the District Administrative Complex, Dr. Aggarwal said that during the past one year, as many as 3,75,774 applicants availed various services across Sewa Kendras in the district. He noted that the current pendency rate stands at 0.22 percent and directed officials to further bring this down to zero through regular monitoring and swift action on all pending cases.

He said the Punjab Government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has placed top priority on ensuring hassle-free, transparent, and efficient delivery of citizen services. Under this commitment, several innovative initiatives have been launched to simplify procedures and enhance public convenience in government offices. Reviewing the status of applications pending under the Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS), Dr. Aggarwal instructed departments to resolve all complaints within the prescribed time frame.
