NAKODAR
The Nakodar City police have arrested three residents on the charge of hunting and smuggling wild animals.
Investigating Officer (IO) Rup Singh said that the accused have been identified as Boni Arora son of BharatBhushan a resident of Malik Bazar, Shivam Gupta son of Gulshan Rai and Deepak alias Kala son of Vijay Kumar residents of Mohalla Jalotiyan.
Nirmal Singh in -charge Wildlife block Jalandhar complained to the police that the accused are indulging in hunting and smuggling wild animals and action be taken against them.
IO said a case under sections 2,9,39,44,48 A,49B ,50,51of the Wildlife Security Act 1972 has been registered against the accused and recovered from their possession parts of wild animals.
