The Shahkot police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officers (IO)Parjindar Kaur said that 20 intoxicant tablets (loose) were recovered fromthepossession of the accused identified as Dupindar Jit Singh alias Lali son of Sukhchain Singh a resident of Raunta village.
IO said that a case under sections 22/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
