NURMAHAL
The Nurmahal police have arrested a villager on charge of brewing illicit liquor.
The investigating officer (IO) Aman Deep Singh said that 2 bottles of hooch and 20 litters boiled Lahann (raw liquor) and utensils for brewing were recovered from the accused identified as Makhann Ram a resident of Taggarr (Fateh Pur) village.
IO said a case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
