The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling poppy husk.
Investigating officers (IO)Kulwindar Singh said that 4.5 kilograms poppy husk were recovered from thepossession of the accused identified as Kuldeep Singh son of Kashmira Singh a resident of Mudh village.
IO said that a case under sections 15/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Bilga police arrested a drug peddler Labhu Singh alias Tota son of Nawan Khehra Bet village in Ludhiana with 60 intoxicant tablets said IO Kulwindar Singh.
